  • Please read the brief introduction to database analysis, design and creation prior to the beginning of this workshop.
  • Three PowerPoint lectures have been prepared for this workshop. They represent 3 basic levels of user expertise on MS Access. I suggest printing them as "handouts" before coming to the workshop. If you have time, read the lectures prior to the workshop.
  • Each level of user expertise is accompanied by a matching database. They are zipped into one archive. Please save the archive to your personal network drive (H://) and extract the Access (mdb) files, so that they are ready to use on May 21.
  • Each level of user expertise is also accompanied by a series of exercises, digitized into a PDF file from the following book:
  • Basic workshop agenda

      • Identification of user needs
